Talulah" CH Spitfire Shelby May 16, 1992 - November 8, 2001

Talulah was placed with us on December 21, 1998 by a Bullie breeder, Rosalyn Forrest, in Nova Scotia. She had just had her second litter and was going to be spayed and Rosalyn wanted to place her in a loving home. We were wanting another Bullie since ours had died a few years earlier. Talulah had received her championship at age two and was the #3 Bullie in Canada one year. She came over on the ferry with a young couple coming to Newfoundland for Christmas. They said she was a joy to travel with and had a super personality. Talulah had become ill about a year ago, being treated for what they felt was IBS. A week before she died she would stand in her bed and stare at the wall, unable to lie down. We thought she had doggie-Alzheimer's so I took her to the vet a few days later because she was not eating, was disoriented and sad. He took blood work and I brought her home. The vet called me an hour later and said she was in acute renal failure and there was only one option. That night John, my 11 year old daughter Alanna and I took her to the vets for her journey to Rainbow Bridge......

Sleep well "Great One" Queen Talulah, we will always miss you
